Challenges

The challenge for the Insights UX was to make the subscription widget accessible without cluttering already information-heavy screens.

Design top bar KPI metrics, find relevant icons, and ensure they effectively display the data.

When the sidebar is closed, the challenge was to indicate to users that the filtering, sorting, and digest settings are not in their default state.

Solutions

The decision was to place the digest subscription inside the sidebar, along with sorting and filtering options.

Added a gradient border to each KPI metrics block and researched relevant icons to enhance visual appeal and clarity

The orange notification icon displays the filtering, sorting, and digest settings are not in their default state.

The Use Case

The Experience Insights page features a convenient left sidebar, sorting and filtering options, and a subscription feature for insights. The top widgets provide total real-time trends.

The screen includes a left sidebar featuring subscription options for the Aternity Insights Digest.

The Aternity Insights Digest presents curated insights tagged according to user preferences, categorized into improvement and achievement columns.
