Challenges

The UI challenge in designing the Aternity admin onboarding process is to clearly guide admins through each step on small screens. Ensuring readability and ease of navigation without overwhelming the user is crucial. To enhance this experience, a progress bar at the top of the screen and status icons near each step are incorporated, allowing admins to easily track their progress and understand the status of each onboarding task. Additionally, the onboarding panel will open at every login until the onboarding process is completed.

Before you begin: the Product Tours

As part of the onboarding process, Aternity product tours provide interactive walkthroughs that guide users through the features and functionalities of the Aternity platform. These tours are designed to help users quickly understand how to monitor and analyze application performance and end-user experience.

Several steps to get ready for the APM administrator

Aternity APM offers a SaaS version of its analysis server. With the SaaS edition, there is no need to install or configure the analysis server. However, the agent must be installed and configured on the systems that users want to monitor.
